Option A: Pre-K 4's

Monday, Wednesday, Friday Half Day

Class meets three mornings a week from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon

Daily Schedule

• Hands on academic play
• Chapel bi-monthly with Pastor Kischnick or Pastor Woods
• Opening: Weather, calendar, letter, number, shape of the day with helpers, individual share time, bible story and concept time, prayer, The Lord's Prayer, pledge to American and Christian flags, singing or story time
• Table time - craft related to the Bible lesson or concept of the day
• Center play
• Music bi-monthly with music director Helen Bohannon
• Snack provided
• Story and songs

Units Include:  Jesus blesses the children, Fruits of the Spirit,  Colors,  Numbers,  Alphabet (phonics and writing skill),  Shapes,  America,  Farm unit,   Art unit - sculpture, landscape, seascape, still life, collage, self portrait

Special Days: Pajama day, Visits from dentist, policeman, fireman, Mother's Night, Father's Night, Thanksgiving Feast, Holiday parties, Sing at church (two times per year)
